Monthly Transfer

Monthly transfer is the amount of information (HTML pages, images, e-mail, FTP, etc.) that is transmitted to/from your Web site space. Each time a HTML page is viewed by a visitor, you upload data using FTP, or e-mail is received it adds to your monthly transfer. The average web site hit is approximately 10k. This would mean that a transfer limit of 1.0 Gigabytes would allow 100,000 hits. Most sites do not exceed the allocated monthly transfer in their plan. However, you can add additional transfer for a nominal monthly fee if you find you need it.
